About me

Hi! My name is Desiree and I am 31. I am married to the best man in the world, Jason. Our wedding was on January 19, 2008- we have been married for 3 1/2 years. We met on a blind date and knew that we were meant for each other.  We both graduated from Mississippi State University but never met which is crazy.  While planning our wedding we also built our home. We moved in after returning from our honeymoon. We both have great jobs and share a wonderful life. I am an engineer (as you can probably tell by my lack of writing/grammar skills) and Jason works with insurance dealing with workers compensation.  We are fortunate to have an unbelievable support group of family and friends.


We have 2 wonderful dogs, Marilyn Monroe (which is a Maltese) and Bailey Tess (which is a chocolate Lab). Up until this point they were our children.  After getting married, we decided that we were both ready to have children. However, our plan was not in line with God's plan.  After doing several years of fertility treatment, we are pregnant with fraternal twins. I will be 36 weeks on Valentine's Day so I keep saying February 14, 2012 is our due date; however, it is March 13.  We are so excited and can't wait to meet our new little babies.
