A Day of Firsts

This morning while I was getting Anna Kate ready for the pool, Foster started crying in his crib. I walked over and found him on his tummy. This was his 1st time to roll over. I hate we missed it! Today we also went to the pool for the first time. The babies loved it and it was nice to get out of the house.  Christie, Haley, and I all met at Christie's mom house. All the kids had a great time.

First Night Away

Jason and I spent the weekend at the casino to celebrate his birthday (and to actually get some rest). Jason's grandmother was able to get us a free weekend at the Isle of Capri Casino. The casino was hosting the annual MS Gulf Coast Billfish Competition.  We watched the weight-in and couldn't believe that a 700+ pound Blue Marlin was caught. It was huge! We really enjoyed the weight-in and seeing the amazing creatures. We spend Friday night alone and our dear friends, the Forman's joined us Saturday. We had a wonderful time.

Nana June and Cayce stayed with the babies on Friday night and Grandmama and Aunt Jackie (Sweetpea) stayed with the babies on Saturday night.  Although we were only 10 minutes away from the babies, I felt like we were gone forever!! The weather was horrible but we enjoyed relaxing and taking a break from our wonderful, sleepless life.  We vowed to keep our relationship first and to always make time for each other.  We really needed this weekend together!!
